This is big and should add some electricity to the full-size truck market.Р”Р„lso, look for Toyota to announce three new vehicles in 2021. Toyota Tundra will be redesigned and out by the end of this year. The 5th Gen is going to be a classic 4Runner in 20 years, similar to the 3rd Gen.We Toyota fans have a lot to look forward to in the coming months. If you have your heart set on a 4Runner and need one soon, I'd go for the sure thing and buy a 5th Gen. I could be wrong and Toyota will continue to make 4Runners in Japan, or they could move them to N.A and solely make the new Land Cruiser in Japan. Toyota currently make the 3rd gen Tacoma's in North America and those have gone down hill, all can agree. Japan have far superior quality control when making cars or anything for that matter. I've said it before, but it's worth repeating here. If this is true, it basically means that the 5th Gen is going to be the last great 4Runner, IMO. There's rumors that Toyota is moving 4Runner manufacturing from Japan to North America (Mexico, Alabama), so that they can build all their 4x4 models in the same plant, on the same new frame, tentatively called 'F1'. Who know is if the 2023 date is even going forward as planned, due to covid.
